This is the personal blog of Mike Daugherty. It’s been here since I graduated from MIT in 2007, even if it doesn’t have a lot to show for it…
After MIT, I worked from September 2007-January 2010 as first a Software Engineer, then as a Senior Software Engineer at Vistaprint in Lexington, MA.
In January of 2010, I decided that I’d spent enough time in Boston and moved to Beijing, China. It may sound crazy, but I knew how to speak Mandarin, and my girlfriend was already living there, so it wasn’t as bad as it sounds.
Now that I’m in Beijing, I’m looking to work on a web-based start up. Every once in a while, I’ll try to add a post on here about how things are going. Let’s hope it’s a great adventure!
